Hi…it’s me again…Fritz…
I have been settling into my new foster home for about three weeks now. I absolutely love playing with my foster brother. We race up and down the hillside in our back yard and wrestle a lot. Sometimes, my foster brother finds me somewhat annoying but I just REALLY like to play! I am learning my manners and will be starting some obedience classes with my foster Mom.
I am fine at the dog park because I really like other dogs but sometimes they need to let me know when they’ve had enough because I just REALLY like to play! I am interested in everything and have taken quite a shine to chasing the Frisbee! You might have gotten the idea that I have lots of energy and that would be true! I do have lots of energy but I also really want to please people so if you are interested in a companion who would love to engage in some swell activities with you, then I am your boy!
When I first came into my foster mom’s house I was completely stressed out. I just didn’t have a clue where I was. I couldn’t tell her my name so she tagged me with Fritz. I kinda like it. Her female German Shepherd and I play but she puts me in my place when I don’t know when to stop. Maybe I could be your only dog.
I have way to much energy for my own good so I would need a fenced in yard. When we have time we both need to go to obedience classes so we can bond and I can figure out how to walk on a leash and all those other commands they teach us. I could see myself doing agility, fly ball or have you as a running partner. I crate well but really do not want to go in it. We are working on that too. I carry her glove, sock or shoe around the house but never chew anything. I do let her know when I need to go potty. I probably would do better with no kids. I like them but may knock them down. No cats either.
I would love it if you were home most of the time so I do not have to be alone all day in my crate. I sleep in the bedroom with my foster mom and her dog and am very quiet. She says I am getting to know her and when we go in the car I behave myself. I am beginning to know my name and come when she calls me. She said I was a sweet loving dog! I like her too. I am UTD on my shots, micro chipped and neutered. All I really need is my own family to keep company.
