Reina (Queen in Spanish) is a beautiful coated German Shepherd Dog. She has a personality and temperament that shines like her crown. Reina is an older gal, she is approaching 8 years old. She is blind in one eye, and has limited vision in her other eye due to Panus and cataracts that have gone untreated for many years. She is now on daily steroid drops and will remain on the drops for the rest of her life. Reina’s main medical issue is a salivary mucocele that needs to be removed surgically. This is a salivary cyst that is quite large and is under her muzzle on her neck. If it is not removed it can rupture. The operation is costly and needs to be done. GSRAW has always taken on dogs that others might toss away due to medical problems, Reina is one of them. Can you please help this gorgeous girl this holiday season? She is scheduled for surgery on January 4. Any donation will be greatly appreciated.
