Addie
Addie was adopted in November 2011.
Things couldn’t be better here with Addie. She is still a little wary and reserved but getting more comfortable with all of us all the time. Today she and Gracie were playing outside together and Gracie has convinced her it is really fun to chase squirrels. We have gone on a couple of walks when the hunters are gone and she loves all the smells she gets along the way. She goes out with Joseph in the morning to do chores and sticks right by his side (he loves this!). She is letting us scratch her tummy and is starting to wag her tale when we come up to her. I can’t remember what Gracie was like at first and of course, she was younger, but Addie is pretty cautious. Only to be expected, I guess. She stays close and loves going out and comes in when called. She is definitely feeling out her new home and, I think, liking it. She is a great dog and we are so happy to have her. She’s a really good fit for us.
