I am good about being outside with you, I am pretty good in my crate, I cry a little bit at first but settle in easily.  I am housetrained, good about being in the house and sleep well at night.  OK what I need to work on:  I don’t walk well on a leash yet, I just want to smell EVERYTHING and don’t understand heel.  I also jump when I get excited to see you but I am already learning that it is not what I am supposed to do.  My foster Mom says I am super duper cute and I am a big boy, weighing in at 73lbs and I am a little bit underweight.  I am looking for my forever home, fill out an application if you might be it!!

Lobo likes to play with toys and balls and will entertain himself but prefers to have someone to play with.  He plays very nice with his foster brother and doesn’t know when to quit sometimes, but they do get along well.  He displayed some dominant posturing initially but no longer seems to care – he just wants to play.

Lobo is crated when left alone but does not like it, so he is gradually earning more freedom.
He is a very sweet dog and just loves attention.   He will chase cats so a home without cats is required.

He walks nicely on a leash and behaves well in the house. Bishop will go into a crate but is not fond of being crated.  Bishop initially showed some interest in cats but quickly learned to ignore them. Bishop gets along with other dogs but would prefer to be the center of your world. He tends to get quite excited and vocal if another dog is vying for your attention. Bishop knows a few basic obedience commands and is very willing to please.

Bishop would make a great companion for someone who is home most of the time and looking for a friend on whom they can lavish all of their love.  Are you that person?

Gunar is a very sweet boy that loves affection, going for walks, and rides in the car.  He is a high energy dog and will need consistent exercise and a job to do.  The phrase “A tired dog is a good dog” was written for Gunar.  He has a lot of energy and likes to play.  Gunar does well with some large dogs but he plays hard so another large dog would probably be better. and will play hard A tall visible fence is a requirement for this smart guy as he is able to leap over 4ft fences in a single bound….

He is definitely a people dog, as he will follow you from room to room.  In foster care, he does well with children who know and understand large and energetic dogs.  He and cats, however, do not get along and he can only go to a house without cats.

Gunar is a really, really nice dog and is just waiting for the right home to give him love, guidance and a place to be. Please fill out an application for him before someone beats you to it!

Oso and I had a few issues, mostly with separation anxiety (which thank goodness has improved).  He is learning to trust people more and more every day.  Its great to see him coming out of his shell and letting his personality shine.  He’s not too sure about the cat yet, very curious about her.  We still need to work on his social skills with other dogs, he is curious but is not ready to make friends yet.  Oso will be attending obedience classes with me to help him become the strong confident dog I know he can and will be.

He is very mellow and calm in the house.  He does have a unique way of letting me know when he as to go outside.  He whines and jumps like a rabbit.  It’s pretty comical.  His ears are also starting to stand up more and more.

He is a wonderful companion and everything I was hoping to find in my dog.  Thank you to everyone who helped Oso.
